Privacy Policy

Bunwi ("the app") is a private chores-and-tasks app for couples. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

Google account basics — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo, used to create your Bunwi profile.
Content you create — your home's name, chores, tasks, shopping items, vouchers and short "connection" messages you share with your partner.
Profile photo — if you upload one, it's stored so your partner can see it.
Push notification tokens — a device token so we can deliver reminders and updates to your phone.

How it's used

Solely to make the app work: syncing your shared home between you and your partner and sending you notifications (when something is assigned to you, completed, or still due at 6 PM). Bunwi has no ads, no analytics or tracking, and never sells or shares your data with third parties.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage and Cloud Messaging) in Google Cloud's Australian region. Access is protected by security rules: only you and the partner in your home can read your home's content.

Data sharing within the app

Bunwi is built for exactly two people. Your display name and photo are visible to the partner in your home, and everything you add to the home is shared with them.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and data at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app, or follow the steps on the account deletion page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Children

Bunwi is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
